Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante subject of Gunners talks
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has tried to appease fans’ fears that their star player could be a summer departure by saying he was 99 percent certain they will hang on to Mahrez.

Midfielders Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante were vital pieces to Leicester City’s championship puzzle – and now Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to make them a part of his too. A breakthrough season has seen Mahrez appear on the transfer radar of a number of major clubs in the Premier League, with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal being interested in signature. France does not really excite me, I love England.
“This season has been incredible and I’m happy at Leicester”.
Despite carrying the weight of being the world’s most expensive teenager, he has had a fine season scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup semi-final and forced his way into France’s starting 11. Having spearheaded the Foxes’ remarkable Premier League success this term, Mahrez pledged to stay on to help the East Midlands outfit fight for bigger honours next season.
On being selected in the Best XI of the Year, Tottenham Hotspurs’ Harry Kane said: “It’s great”.
Leicester were voted Club of the Year and their manager Claudio Ranieri was named Manager of the Year. “The fact that it comes from Facebook who have so many fans worldwide means it’s something I’m very happy with”. It’s fantastic for Leicester to actually be in the Champions League.
Asked if he could categorically say he would stay next season, said: “Yeah, yeah”.

But it seems as if the best sides in world football are also in for the Algerian and United will have plenty of competition on their hands if Mahrez does decide to leave the Foxes.
