Leicester City being champions is no fluke, says Jamie Vardy
Leicester City’s squad needs major strengthening for the extra demands of Champions League football, according to the club’s assistant manager Steve Walsh.

Professional Footballers’ Association player of the year Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante have been linked with moves after outstanding seasons, with Arsenal and Chelsea reportedly keen on both players.
“It is important for us but it is important also for them because they don’t know the Champions League”.
With his side already out of the FA Cup, Ranieri’s bold gamble paid off spectacularly as his team secured eight wins from 11 games to finish the season as title-winners for the first time in their 132-year history.
Vardy has enjoyed a wonderful season, with his goals being a major reason behind Leicester winning the Premier League.
‘I’m not sure we will surprise people. So why not stay?
“You can win or lose, but I want to see the same attitude, the same link between each other”.
University researcher Richard Hoyle commented: “The fans must have been truly energised for their team to end the league on a high and we can see this with the seismic waves they produced”.
The 26-year-old said: “It was a very hard game – I think one of the toughest of the season. We’ve just been concentrating on each and every game, as they come”, he added.
“I know a lot of (European) clubs will be thinking, “it’s okay, it’s only Leicester we’ve got”.
“I believe when there will be the draw for the (Champions League) group, other teams will want to play against us because we are in Europe for the first time and they think we are underdogs”. Leicester has been on everyone’s radar all season, they will have heard all the stories coming out about how well we are doing.

It’s safe to say nearly no one saw Leicester City coming this year.
Vardy claimed clubs were too quick to ditch youngsters, having been told he would never make it when he was dumped by boyhood club Sheffield Wednesday aged 16.

Asked whether there was a friendly rivalry between himself and Kane, who could be playing alongside one another at Euro 2016 this summer, Vardy replied: “We’re away with England to do a job for England and that’s all we focus on while we’re there”.
