Scott wants federal dollars to fight Zika

A few cases of the mosquito-borne Zika virus have cropped up in Pennsylvania over the last few months.

USA health experts have said that they expect the virus to be contained to clusters in the southern United States, while acknowledging that the virus is unpredictable.

Health officials remind you are at risk of getting Zika if you were bitten by mosquitoes in an area experiencing an outbreak.

Zika, which is spread through mosquitoes and sexual contact, causes birth defects in unborn children who develop abnormally small heads.
