Police have returned to Prince’s estate in Minnesota as investigators questioned a local doctor who prescribed medications to the musician and visited him the day before he died, according to a search warrant.

The musician was to have performed a pair of concerts in Atlanta on April 7, but postponed those shows, blaming the flu.
Cops have quizzed the doctor, who admitted treating the Purple Rain star twice in April, once on the 7th and again on the 20th, a day before he was found dead in a lift.
The affidavit said Schulenberg had also prescribed Prince medication, but did not specify what those medications were or whether the prescription had been filled.
Authorities returned Tuesday to the Minnesota home of Prince, who died on April 21 at age 57, to continue their investigation into the musician’s death.
The clinic where Schulenberg practiced family medicine said he was no longer working there as of Tuesday.
Prince saw a doctor the day before he died, according to a new search warrant connected to the singer’s death probe. Andrew Kornfeld arrived at Paisley Park the morning of April 21, was present when the singer’s body was found and called 911.
The Prince investigation continues.
An official cause of Prince’s death has yet to be revealed, pending the release of the results from the autopsy.
Investigators interviewed Schulenberg and searched a suburban Minneapolis hospital where he worked.
Schulenberg allegedly explained to police that he was at the singers home to drop off test results from that appointment.

April 20 Dr. Howard Kornfeld, a California addiction specialist, is asked by Prince representatives to help the star, according to Kornfeld attorney William Mauzy. The attorney refused then to identify the Minnesota doctor, and it was not clear whether that physician had a prior relationship with Prince.
Dr. Schulenberg, 46, has been licensed to practice in Minnesota since 1997.
