Windows 10 is not only the first milestone release of Windows to be given away for free (albeit only to consumer users of Windows 7 and 8.1), it’s also the first to be distributed online.

The Windows 10 Enterprise evaluation edition expires after 90 days, but during the three-month stretch is fully functional. While it is optimized for multi-function devices such as the Surface, it’s also useful when the user feels the need to connect a keyboard and a mouse to his Windows 10 tablet.
