Meghan Trainor’s Bass Is Back in Previously Altered “Me Too” Video
Trainor removed the video for her single “Me Too” from VEVO and YouTube after she realized her image had been digitally modified. She says she hasn’t had a serious relationship since her pre-Bass fame (“I intimidate guys, I’ve been told”).

A true-to-form video has been released to replace the altered one.
“I went to the video and was like, ‘Oh my god, ‘” she said to USA Today. In the fun music video, fans can follow the Grammy victor as she gets ready in her pajamas, rocks a giraffe onesie while sipping a Frappuccino, and shows off her best dance moves in a sparkly cobalt blue dress. “I called every [label head] – LA Reid, Sylvia Rhone”.
Speaking to USA Today, Meghan said: ‘I was like, “Why would they do this?” It’s a lingering effect of a hemorrhaged vocal cord, which forced the singer to undergo surgery last summer and cancel a slew of dates on her headlining tour. “That is my thing!” Especially because I’m the only artist who talks about it’.
Alongside the photo, Meghan wrote a message of thanks to her fans: “The real #metoo video is finally up!”
Some critics have labelled Meghan’s music video issue as a publicity stunt.
Dunham recently complained in general about the various ways her appearance is altered for photos, while Bruce Willis and Demi Moore‘s daughter was angry that Vanity Fair photographers had retouched a photo to make her jawline look “smaller”. “Go work and ignore it”, but I couldn’t help it.
“There are a few covers coming out that I’m frightened about. And I’m so sick of it and I’m over it, so I took it down until they fix it”, Trainor told fans via Snapchat.
