Clinton on track despite W. Virginia defeat
“You look at this “Crazy Bernie” character, you look at him, and you see what’s going on, and she’s got some difficulty, there’s no question about it”, he said referring to Clinton, who has a almost insurmountable lead over Sanders in delegates.

Sanders is less than 300 pledged delegates behind rival Hillary Clinton, but lags far behind her in superdelegates – unelected party officials able to support the candidate of their choice.
But he was hit with a bad poll just before his event at the Salem Armory: 48 percent of likely Democratic primary voters picked Clinton, while 33 percent picked Sanders, according to the poll DHM Research conducted for Oregon Public Broadcasting.
“Those are the issues that I talk about, not Bill Clinton’s personal life, not Hillary Clinton’s emails, not the Clinton Foundation”, Sanders said.
Republicans voted in West Virginia and Nebraska on Tuesday, a week after Donald Trump cleared the field of his remaining rivals with a big win in Indiana.
Trump, the de facto GOP nominee, easily won both the West Virginia and Nebraska primaries on Tuesday too.
It was added that the win has given Trump nearly all the delegates required to secure his nomination as Presidential candidate.
In a Wednesday interview, the anchor pointed out that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has used some of Sanders’ rhetorical attacks on Clinton against the former secretary of state.
“I want to take a moment to thank the people of West Virginia for the tremendous victory”, Sanders said at a massive campaign rally in OR, which votes next week.
“Working people are hurting”, Sanders said in OR on Tuesday night after his West Virginia win.
“If we make a deal, that would be great”.
Clinton has not yet visited OR, but her husband has been in the state twice in recent weeks.
He was referring to the latest delegate count, according to which Ms. Clinton leads Mr. Sanders by 1,705 to 1,415 in pledged delegates and 523 to 39 in super delegates.
“After about six-seven months of debating and watching, I think Hillary has a lot more to offer than Bernie internationally”, the 68-year-old retiree said.
Crediting Trump’s success throughout the race to his star power and the fact that he is an outsider who will upset things, Beck also pointed out the number of Democrats who might vote for Trump.
Democrats also voted on Tuesday in a presidential “beauty contest” in Nebraska, although the delegates from that state were all previously assigned during a March 5 caucus.
“We just need to get to know each other”, said Ryan.

Sanders has repeatedly told supporters at packed rallies that most opinion polls indicate he would beat Trump in a general election match-up by a larger margin than polls show Clinton defeating Trump.
