Everyone has Windows 10 on their machine, so each person seeds a little bit of the files to those who need it, distributing the load across multiple computers and helping everyone download updates quickly.

The Microsoft Store was updated in all regions on Thursday morning with two separate prices, one for Windows 10 Home and one for Windows 10 Pro. To ensure servers don’t overload, consumers will be receiving the download notification in their taskbars in waves, starting Wednesday morning. The free upgrade of the new OS is a calculated move towards it rescue operation, Recode said in a report.
While Microsoft has not publicly stated its milestones, other than 1 billion installs after three years, seeing as they are publicly announcing this number so early means that they are pleased with the install rate.

There were about 70 different laptops on display at Best Buy from a variety of computer manufacturers, plus some small form-factor Windows tablets and a selection of desktop PCs.
If you haven’t reserved Windows 10, you can still use the Get Windows 10 app for Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to register for a free upgrade.
The previous Internet Explorer had become something of an online joke for most Windows users, and Microsoft decided to do away with it in the new version. Users will be able to grab the Windows Software Development Kit alongside other innovative applications in Windows 10. But while Windows 10 is certainly a fantastic operating system, like any new OS there are good reasons to hold off on upgrading for the time being.
