After ‘Crooked Hillary’, Trump Puts ‘Crazy Bernie’ in the Spotlight

Bernie Sanders, however, holds a narrow lead over Trump in all three of the pivotal states.

“I will try to unify our country”, she said during a rally at Camden County College in Blackwood.

Despite it being mathematically impossible for Bernie Sanders to take the Democratic nomination, the senator has continued his presidential bid against Hillary Clinton in the hopes of a win through a superdelegate process.

“Our message to the Democratic delegates who will be assembling in Philadelphia is while we may have many disagreements with Secretary Clinton, there is one area we agree, and that is we must defeat Donald Trump”. “But let me also say this: This myth that long primaries somehow hurt the eventual nominee, I think we all saw in 2008 how that just was not true”.

“Clinton is leading in both states and Democratic voters in these states are probably more typical of the “establishment” Democrats that tend to support Hillary Clinton”, said associate professor George Davis, chair of the political science department at MU.

With such a benevolent opponent, what could Clinton possibly have to complain about? “We still have a possibility of coming in with a majority of pledged delegates”, Sanders contended.

The campaign has again and again pointed to the general election match-up numbers, as a way to grab up some of that superdelegate support, but a majority of the Democrats who have committed have stayed with Clinton.

Bernie Sanders supporters may be “feeling the Bern” for their own candidate, but almost half are planning to give Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton the cold shoulder in November. “It’s pretty clear at this point that we’re going to have a real difference in the general election”.

He added: “So please do not moan to me about Hillary Clinton’s problems”.

With Republican concern about their nominee sizzling, a Quinnipiac University poll out Tuesday showed Mr Trump closing in on Mr Clinton’s lead in two major battleground states – Florida and Pennsylvania – and overtaking her in swing state Ohio.

“The major reason is that the American people understand that we can not have a president who has insulted Latinos and Mexicans”. Brown said that a massive gender gap among voters seems to be benefiting Trump.
