Ohio Governor John Kasich has dropped out of the presidential race after struggling to gain traction against Republican front-runner Donald Trump, reports said yesterday.

He also said he’s hoping to decide within a week how to fund a general election campaign, but said he didn’t want to accept money from super PACs. I don’t really like hitting people first. I think that’s just downright risky. “People will be voting for me, they’re not voting for the party”.
Despite Trump’s frequent claims to the contrary, he trails Clinton, his most likely opponent, in almost every hypothetical general-election poll thus far – often by wide margins.
“Well, I’ll see what they do with me, I mean if they are fair, I’ll be fair”, said Trump on NBC’s Nightly News with Lester Holt. “She knows how to get her message out”, Zepecki said.

Kasich will announce the end of his underdog White House bid on Wednesday, according to three campaign officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the candidate’s plans.
Over the course of the past 10 months, the 69-year-old Trump – a Manhattan real estate mogul with no political experience – has defied the odds, dispatching more than a dozen rivals with more conventional political pedigrees.
Of facing Clinton, Trump says, “A lot’s going to depend on how they treat me”.
