Fallout 4’s Next Beta Will Test Mods On Xbox One; Sign-Ups Open

Players’ creations available on Bethesda.net range from the mundane (a water fountain) to the ultra-important (additional “appealing skin mole” options).

Are you looking forward to Far Harbor?

Bethesda have just released a new trailer for their upcoming Fallout 4 DLC “Far Harbor”, which is set to be the biggest expansion ever seen in a Bethesda game.

You can check out the screenshots HERE and HERE. In a tweet, the company confirmed that mods will arrive on the console versions of Fallout 4 in a closed beta for a public release.

We’ll see what Xbox One players have in store for fellow survivors when Fallout 4’s mod tools enter open beta later this month.

With all of that said, Fallout 4 Mod support is something revolutionary, especially on consoles since it is the first time when user creativity is actually incorporated in a game through official means.

Fallout 4 mods on PC range from simple textures and performance enhancements to adding new settlements in the Wasteland. Travel off the coast of ME to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Bethesda has also begun sending out Far Harbor beta codes for gamers on all three platforms.

Aside from the Fallout 4 Creation Kit, the studio have also provided a revamped Survival Mode, now playable on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

“Far Harbor”, previously reported by Christian Daily to be coming on May 19, will bring the “largest landmass for an add-on” as announced by Bethesda.
