Wentworth Miller no longer a regular on Legends of Tomorrow

EW has confirmed that Miller still has a series regular contract, but his episodes will be spread across multiple DC titles on The CW, specifically The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

The series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Phil Klemmer, Chris Fedak and Sarah Schechter.

Deadline reports that Wentworth Miller has signed a new deal with Warner Bros. TV.

However, before everyone gets up in arms, this does not mean that Captain Cold is leaving Legends of Tomorrow permanently. Of course, his first appearance was on The Flash, and then he moved to a lead role on Legends of Tomorrow. “To defeat Vandal, the team tries to destroy the Oculus but there is a fail safe that must be manually held in place, and it is Snart who sacrifices himself and is killed in the explosion”. Whilst we know that his exit on the show looked like he won’t be able to return, since this is a comic book universe and time travel is involved, anything could happen.

While on Thursday night’s new episode we seemingly saw the Leonard Snart character die in order to protect the team, it seems as though he may still have a life moving forward on the show in some way still.

“We always knew that he wouldn’t be a permanent member of The Waverider. (He) won’t be part of the team of Legends on board of The Waverider next year, but he will have a very active role on the show”.

“There is an anthology element to Legends…” “There will be new teammates, a new big bad”.
