Officials with the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation say the ranks of donors to the family charity surged in the first half of this year – at the same time that Hillary Rodham ramped up her campaign for the presidency. Bush lives in Florida, where there is no state income tax.

They paid almost $44 million in federal taxes during that period.
Politicians often use late Friday releases to try to minimize coverage of information that won’t help them.
“We’ve come a long way from my days going door-to-door for the Children’s Defense Fund and earning $16,450 as a young law professor in Arkansas – and we owe it to the opportunities America provides”, she said.
She has vowed, if elected, to revive a push in Congress to institute the so-called Buffett rule, named for billionaire investor Warren Buffett, which would impose a minimum tax rate of 30 percent on anyone making more than $1 million a year.
Clinton is a “healthy 67-year-old female whose current medical conditions include hypothyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies”, wrote Dr. Lisa Bardack, an internist who practices near Clinton’s suburban New York home.
“She is in excellent condition and fit to serve as President of the United States“, Bardack writes.
She had been forced to wear special glasses for a while to counteract double vision that resulted from the concussion. She said Clinton began anticoagulation therapy to dissolve the clot.
The doctor noted that Clinton’s father lived into his eighties and her mother into her nineties.
There was no mention of Clinton’s height or weight.
“There’s no red flags there”, said Dr. Mark Creager, director of the Dartmouth-Hitchkock heart and vascular center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and president of the American Heart Association.
Due to her family history, she had full cardiac testing, including an ultrasound exam of arteries in her neck, and all was well. In a letter, she declares Clinton “a healthy-appearing female”, saying that Clinton exercises regularly, eats plenty of vegetables and fruits, doesn’t smoke, and “drinks alcohol only occasionally”.

Clinton experienced deep vein thrombosis in 1998 and 2009, an elbow fracture in 2009, and a concussion in 2012-all of which were reported publicly at the time.
