What is next for Trump and Clinton in Wisconsin?
Although Kasich tried to pitch himself as the best Republican to take on Hillary Clinton, the weight of the non-Trump efforts have largely gone toward Texas Sen. “Our strategy has been and continues to be one that involves winning the nomination at an open convention”, the post stated.

With the IN victory, and a huge lead IN California, Trump is on track to win more than enough delegates to clinch the nomination on the first ballot, which is why Priebus declared him the presumptive nominee.
Meanwhile, speaking from his campaign headquarters – Trump Towers in New York – Donald Trump declared that he will be leading the Republican Party to victory in the Presidential race in November this year. He also refused to condemn a recent antisemitic attack on a journalist who wrote an article about his wife, and appeared to maintain his view that Muslims should be kept out of America, The Guardian reported.
Like him or not, Mr. Trump has brought to the fore issues that have simmered for decades. Kasich cancelled events in Wash 41ington and announced an evening event in his home state on Wednesday. “They’re politicians. Don’t worry about it”, said Trump.
“We’re going after Hillary Clinton”. But, he said “the idea that is going to damage the Republican Party permanently, I don’t see that happening”. Kasich was a more moderate candidate who embraced elements of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul and called for an optimistic and proactive Republican agenda.
But if you’re from the half of the Republican Party that can’t stand The Donald, you’ve got a decision to make. Ted Cruz, who suspended his campaign the night of May 3.

Trump said he would consider Kasich as a possible running mate during an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. While Kasich was on his plane flying to Washington, D.C., for a news conference at Dulles airport in Virginia, he had a change of heart and chose to turn the plane around and head to OH, where his White House bid would officially come to an end. “I have had a good relationship with John. During the debates, during intermission, I always seem to be talking to John”, Trump said. I think that’s just downright risky.
