The campaign said it was releasing the doctor’s letter as part of an effort to be more transparent.

Donations to the Clinton Foundation by Swiss bank UBS increased tenfold after Hillary Clinton intervened to settle a dispute with the IRS early in her tenure as secretary of state, according to a published report. As far back as 1998, Clinton was advised to take blood thinners when she took extended flights and Bardack wrote that after Clinton’s concussion, “it was decided to continue her on daily anticoagulation”. The blood clot, also known as a thrombosis, that she had suffered between her brain and skull following a fainting spell and concussion is now completely resolved.

Clinton left the hospital on January 2, 2013 and returned to work five days later, but did not appear before Congress until the following month, leading some Republicans to speculate about the timing and seriousness of her hospitalization.

The letter also outlines various medical ailments that Clinton suffered in years past, including her concussion in 2012 and her elbow fracture in 2009. “And now they say she’s auditioning for a part on ‘The Walking Dead.'”.

Bardack said testing the following year showed “complete resolution” of the concussion’s effects, including double vision, which she wore glasses with specialized lenses to address.

Bardack listed Clinton’s current medications as Armour Thyroid, antihistamines, Vitamin B12 and Coumadin, an anticoagulant.

She is up to date on regular colonoscopy and gynecologic exams, as well as mammograms and breast ultrasounds.

“There’s no red flags there”, said Dr. Mark Creager, director of the Dartmouth-Hitchkock heart and vascular center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and president of the American Heart Association. Clinton’s own cholesterol level is 195, with an LDL – considered “bad” cholesterol – of 118 and HDL – considered “good” cholesterol – of 64.
