Sun and Showers for the Weekend

High temperatures on Sunday will be held about 10 degrees below normal, only reaching the lower 60s at best. We will keep a chance of showers, mainly in the North Dakota side of the viewing area, otherwise we are looking at partly to mostly cloudy skies to start the weekend.

The next chance of rain looks to return early Monday morning, and that will set the scene for an active week next week. It isn’t until the late evening when rain will become widespread and last through the night. Winds: W/SW 10-15 miles per hour. Overnight lows will be warm, only falling into the upper 40s & low 50s.

Monday will be very similar to Sunday: Mostly sunny, windy, and cool with highs in the lower to mid 60s. Clouds will be increasing Sunday, and it will likely be the coolest day of the next week. It will be in the low-60s on Wednesday and Thursday with a chance of rain each day. A brief break in the activity Monday afternoon, before another wave of precipitation moves in Monday evening/night. A few isolated showers could pop up throughout the region.

Our warm, sunny weather of last week has been replaced by Friday night’s cold front.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: The high continues to sit to our south and east. It will keep us in the southerly flow, but an approaching low will keep us under mostly cloudy skies. Most of the area will see partly cloudy skies.

Our weather gets more unsettled as we start the new work week.
