Lucy Lawless posted a photo to Instagram that was a mini-reunion of sorts between her and her Xena: Warrior Princess sidekick Renee O’Connor.

Of course, as E! notes, the two actresses have never truly been apart since “Xena” ended its six-season syndicated run in 2001: They’ve kept in touch over the years, and often appear together at conventions.
The sighting comes just days after it was reported NBC is looking into reviving the ’90s TV series. However, if there truly is a Xena revival in the works, Lucy doesn’t know anything about it (or at least she claims as much!).
“Sorry, friends! news of a #Xena reboot is just a rumor”, she tweeted on July 20. But maybe we can take this photo as a sign that a reboot could happen one day.
