A group of archaeologist from the Washington University given the proof of cats living with humans more than 5000 year.

This archaeological dig at the ancient Chinese farming village of Quanhucun has uncovered the remains of humans, cats, pigs, rodents and deer who lived side-by-side at some point around 5,300 years ago.
Some cats of that time found to have higher quantity of millets in their diet, suggesting that they were fed by humans.
According to the research, human of that time may have suffered from the rat problems, with burrows leading into storage pits and ancient rodent-proof millet pots.

The researcher scientist are trying to find more information about the ancient life of humans.
