Claudio Ranieri to be offered contract extension, says Leicester vice-chairman

The move clearly paid off as Ranieri guided the Foxes to the Premier League title against all odds this season and Srivaddhanaprabha has revealed that he was always confident that the Italian would be a success in the East Midlands. We will sit down together and when we talk about something, it’s long term, not just until September.

Ranieri added: “I know a lot of clubs will be thinking, ‘It’s okay, it’s only Leicester we’ve got.’ But we’ll be playing the Champions League with exactly the same attitude. I want people who work for me to be happy and enjoy working with good people”.
