Hyperloop One Undergoes Successful Tests in Nevada Desert
A recovery vehicle and a test sled sit on rails after a propulsion open-air test of Hyperloop One’s transportation technology, in Nevada, U.S. May 11, 2016.

The demonstration took place Wednesday outside Hyperloop’s facility at Apex Industrial Park.
“So when you think of passengers travelling on this, we can control the acceleration so you won’t feel any more acceleration than an airplane taking off”, Hyperloop co-founder Brogan BamBrogan added.
If “Hyperloop One” has its way, this new way to travel may be a lot closer to becoming a reality. The propulsion system shot a metal sled along a short track at 2.4 Gs, the rough equivalent of accelerating from 0 to 53 miles per hour in one second.
Engineers are aiming for a fully functioning hyperloop transportation system to be in operation by 2020. “It will move cargo by 2019, and passengers as soon as 2021”. The California-based company announced Tuesday that it was tweaking its name from Hyperloop Technologies and had closed an $80 million round of financing. Musk was busy building his electric auto and rooftop solar companies at the time, and offered the idea to whoever wanted to try it out.
Hyperloop One said it is conducting several privately funded feasibility studies to analyze the economic and social benefits of a route between Stockholm and Helsinki.
“The amount of energy it uses, the way we control the pulses, the copper coils, everything is unique”, he said.
Moreover, Lloyd also stated that Hyperloop will be safe, efficient and will provide sustainable high-speed connectivity both for people and goods goal.
Hyperloop One and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) are the two rival firms that are working to bring the hyperloop to life. Even so, that should be enough to scoot the final version along at speeds of around 700 miles per hour.
Hyperloop One is one of the startups that picked up the gauntlet.
“We purchased land here in December, and we demonstrated today a full-scale component of the Hyperloop, just over my right shoulder, in just a couple of months from beginning construction”, said CEO Rob Llo, Hyperloop One.

The company isn’t only developing a new technology, it’s also pioneering a novel form of high tech transportation that could fill the void left by America’s lack of a high-speed train system such as France’s TGV.
