Donald Trump Strikes Back After NYT Piece
Interviews with dozens of women who have worked for Donald Trump or interacted with him socially reveal a pattern of often unsettling personal behaviour by the Republican presidential candidate, the New York Times reported on Saturday.

When she was 26, Rowanna Brewer Lane, was modeling and attended a pool party at Trump’s Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago, she told The Times.
The New York Times wrote a scathing article about Donald Trump’s encounters with women in private.
Lane said she did in fact meet Trump at that pool party, but said he had simply offered her a swimsuit – she said “okay”, since she hadn’t brought one.
A CNN/ORC poll in March found that 73 percent of registered women voters viewed Trump unfavorably, a clear downward trend since December, when 59 percent of registered women voters had a negative view of him. Trump did not keep his critique of her changing body quiet – he publicly shamed her, she said. I grabbed one of the women in the office and sent her in to get lunch orders. “That’s what I told the Times and they spun it completely differently”. “I think there were a few other girls that he kissed on the mouth”. I say, “Because I’m not going to be told by somebody to have something which I don’t want”. I didn’t have a swim suit.
Priebus appeared on Sunday television talk shows and was asked to respond to a New York Times report that documented Trump’s checkered history of disparaging females and making unwelcome advances toward them.
“He never made me feel like I was being demeaned in any way”.
In an interview, Trump described himself as a champion of women, someone who took pride in hiring them and was in awe of their work ethic.
Ivana said “the story is totally without merit”, and explained that the source material was a depiction from her of how the tenderness had left their marriage by that time, rather than a literal rape.
Perhaps most importantly though, we learn that Donald Trump’s obsession with his daughter Ivanka goes as far back as 1997. Machado asked the president of Miss Universe (not Trump) for a doctor to help her diet and exercise.
Trump also retweeted a score of messages from women pledging their allegiance to his candidacy.
“The story provides a lot of context for the reader including that the swimsuit scene was the “start of a whirlwind romance” between Ms. Brewer Lane and Mr. Trump”.
Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, predicted Trump’s image among women would improve as the campaign progressed. “It was him reminding me that I was overweight”.
‘I didn’t know that I had planned – I wasn’t really gonna plan on swimming.

A spokesperson for the Times told Politico in a statement that “Ms. Brewer Lane was quoted fairly, accurately and at length”. Hugh Carey of NY, she had fulfilled a lifelong wish for Trump: She secured him a vanity license plate with his initials, DJT, which adorned his limousine for years.
