Microsoft has a new way of trying to get Windows 10 onto your computer, whether you want it or not.
A report on the same story published on Paul Thurrott’s site reckons that the expansion in available slots for Start Menu app adverts stems from the success of Candy Crush, pre-loaded in Windows 10 at launch. Version 2.0 comes with significant updates and supports several new authentication modes, new algorithms, including SHA-1, SHA-256, RSA and Elliptic curve cryptography P256, as well as multiple root keys.
The new build also contains a slew of fixes for known issues such as problems with DRM-protected content, bugs causing audio content to crash and an issue causing the search box on the Language Settings page to crash.
Users shouldn’t have to be watching their PCs like hawks to ensure nothing is amiss in terms of updates. If so, you might be contemplating a clean install instead of an in-place upgrade.
The software has been worming its way into Windows PCs using Windows Updates and antagonistic malware-like methods and regular pop-up reminders since it was released last Summer.
Meanwhile, there might be no changes in the exterior design but will have the latest operating system, the Windows 10. Extensions can be installed from Windows Store, including new plugins for AdBlock Plus, One Note Web Clipper and Microsoft Translator, while websites can now deliver notifications to the Action Centre. With users turning up their noses at Windows 8 in favor of the far more popular Windows 7, or even the aging XP, the company was eager to get users to adopt Windows 10.

The Nokia Lumia users had been agitated by this update as they have complained that some of the older, more popular devices such as the Lumia 520, Lumia 1020 and the Lumia 1320 are not getting this new update. Since its preview Microsoft also remind their users not to use it with their serious project.
