‘Mr. Robot’ Season 2 Trailer: Rami Malek, fsociety & The Illusion Of Control
Along with its other 2016 offerings, US released the official Mr. Robot Season 2 trailer well ahead of its July 13 premiere, in which Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) assures Elliot (Rami Malek) their work is far from finished.

Slater is back as the alternate personality, Elliot’s father, and true leader of the group, but how long until Elliot stabilizes from the events of last season, especially since (at least going by the trailer) the Tyrell situation doesn’t look even slightly resolved.
The end of the first season found Elliot and his team of intrepid, revolutionary hackers succeeding in their ability to overthrow some bit of the economic stranglehold placed firmly around the throat of the world.
Although they were successful in their hack, fsociety will face more obstacles in season two. “That we meant what we said about changing the world”.
Per USA Network’s announcement accompanying the trailer, Mr. Robot’s second season (stylized as season_2.0, naturally) will be exploring “themes of revolution and the illusion of control”. We’ve got President Obama, Elliot’s missing days, and a whole list of other things to unpack. Leading man Rami Malek also received a nomination for Best Actor in a Television Series – Drama.

“Shooter”, premiering this summer, is based on “Point of Impact”, the bestselling novel written by Stephen Hunter, and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg. The USA Network is owned by Comcast’s NBCUniversal.
