Bills WR Sammy Watkins dealing with yet another injury
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins suffered a small broken bone in his foot, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport and Tyler Dunne of the Buffalo News. The team confirmed he is not expected to return until after training camp (but in time for the regular-season opener).

The Buffalo Bills are having a disgusting news day.
However other reports indicate Watkins may miss the preseason.
The 22-year-old wideout is coming off a breakout second season in which he posted 60 catches for 1,047 yards with nine touchdowns.
Watkins suffered his own share of injuries a year ago as he underwent hip surgery and then injured his calf and knee in the regular season.
Right after the Bills selected Lawson, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the outside linebacker from Clemson would need shoulder surgery that probably would take place after his rookie season and require four to six months of recovery.
The Bills are taking some hits this offseason.
In the wake of the news that Shaq Lawson will undergo pre-emptive shoulder surgery Tuesday, Buffalobills.com has learned that he’s not alone. Lawson could have played through the injury, but the Bills felt surgery was the better course of action.

Bills General Manager Doug Whaley was particularly pleased that Lawson agreed to take this measure. “Fans constantly hear us say that we want players with tremendous character who keep team goals ahead of personal ones and Shaq is a great example of this”.
