Google Launches New App Called “Spaces” To Improve Sharing

A Wednesday session on Android Pay, for example, promises to reveal “exciting new announcements we have in the works”.

Oddly this appears to be inside the Cardboard VR universe while rumors suggest that Google will be moving on to their own Android VR initiative in the meantime. Instead of scrounging through various publications, users will have the chance to join a “space”, see what the company has to offer, as well as share views about it. It’s rumored to be working on an “Android VR” product, though exactly what that will do isn’t yet known.

YouTube Live TV: Google usually has a separate event for YouTube at separate events.

It’s called Spaces and in its purest form it’s a messaging app that combines WhatsApp, Reddit and Pinterest into one.

What cool new features can we expect from Android N?

Google says Spaces is starting to roll out for Android, iOS, desktop, and mobile web users with Gmail accounts.

He still claims that Google is working on a VR headset but it will not be announced this week.

Just like Amazon Echo and Apple’s Siri, Google will now have “Chirp”. It has a 9.25-inch (23.5 cm) tall cylinder speaker with a seven-piece microphone array. In it, you can share all sorts of stuff you find around the Web, like images, videos and articles, Google said.

Following the launch of the Android Studio 2.1.1 update earlier in May, Google has begun contacting registered Google Play developers, advising them to upgrade to patch a security vulnerability present in prior versions. Google I/O attendees can also experiment with the new feature during this week’s conference.

Given its vast resources, it only seems like a matter of time before one of Google’s efforts hits the mark with users. In the meantime, eager users who are unable to wait can download the latest version from APK Mirror. It’s something that could be used by groups with a shared interest, friends and family, or co-workers collaborating on a project. It is expected that the tech giant will also show the progress it’s made with Tango at I/O, which may also include a sneak peek at the handset.

Google has never been shy about creating new products.
