Apple reportedly set to unveil next version of ‘Apple TV’ in September
Buzzfeed’s John Paczkowski, who has impeccable sources for Apple release schedules, says that Apple will unveiled its refreshed TV set-top box alongside its new iPhones in September. Most reports agree that Apple will be adding Siri voice commands, and access to a new, device-specific App Store.

The long-awaited revamp of Apple TV is coming in September, according to reporting from BuzzFeed.
“Apple was granted a patent filing for an Apple TV remote with inbuilt Touch ID sensor last week, allowing users to use their biometric data to enter TV passwords, created personalised profiles or controlling connected devices”, reports The Telegraph.
The latest iPhone released by Apple was launched in September 2014, this being of course the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
This is entirely likely, especially when we consider the size difference between the first Apple TV and the current model, which is a lot smaller and sleeker. At that time, Apple TV and the subscription were not ready for the launch. However, Apple is not expected to release its TV subscription service alongside the new device. Previous rumors indicated that the company talked to major television networks ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC.
Apple TV has not been updated over the past three years. Similarly, Apple wants people to buy as many new Apple TVs as possible in order to be ready when it launches its new streaming service months later. They may be introducing a new “dual-lens” camera which will take DSLR-like quality pictures.
A new report suggests the second-generation Apple Inc.
Users would also prefer the device to have at least 16GB of internal memory.
It is also expected to only be available in the US, although this hasn’t been confirmed. Furthermore, the upcoming Apple TV will also boast a significantly improved remote control that features a touch-pad input.

The iPhone 5s iOS 9 update should arrive around the iPhone 6s release date. So, while some claim that the improvements will be significant, others seem to believe that Apple will not bring something impressive at this point.
