‘Dark Souls 3’ Anti-Cheating Patch Gets Pulled From Game
The patch has resulted to regular game freezes that have affected many players’ gameplay. They plan to release more anti-hacker update and new patch without freezing once this is issue is resolved.

In an update on the game’s Steam page, From Software stated that, “This patch has been removed temporarily to fix the freeze issues”. However, it reportedly caused a lot of player’s games to freeze, crash and even caused a number of performance issues, that’s why they made a decision to pull the patch from Steam.
Dark Souls 3 has become a haven for cheaters, with PC players learning to write code and running mods to get around certain challenges within the game. “We hope to reinstate the patch ASAP”, the developer explained on the Steam forums. Let us know in the comments if you’ve found any good ones.
If you demand that all your RPGs are played in the same manner as the Elder Scrolls games, then you’re in luck: you can now play Dark Souls III in relative comfort thanks to a first-person perspective mod. That’s unfortunately precisely what happened with the latest patch for the game on PC.
