A spokesman for Baghdad Operations Command said the attacks were coordinated to occur at the same time.

Dozens of people were killed Tuesday in the latest deadly bombings to target the Iraqi capital, according to media reports. The Sunni Islamic State considers Shiites to be heretics and has targeted them in its bombing campaign.

The bombings also wounded at least 50 people.

It’s the third deadly bombing to strike Shiite areas of the Iraqi capital on Tuesday. The attack was carried out with an explosives-laden auto that was parked near the market.

Meanwhile, a vehicle bomb in the southern Al-Rashid neighborhood killed six and wounded 21 people.
