President Bush suggested that the D needs to be taken out of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) because what our veterans are dealing with is not a ‘disorder.’ “We don’t view it as a disorder, we view it as an injury”, Bush said, and Harry agreed with. “You probably shouldn’t be worrying about having these people in your office”.

Saying “everyone has a right to privacy”, Harry, who is fourth in line to the throne, told the BBC he thought it was “unnecessary” that there was a desire to know “every little bit of detail about what goes on behind the scenes”.

The name Invictus comes from the Latin word for “unconquered”.

Addressing accusations of being workshy that have dogged him and his brother, the Duke of Cambridge, this year, Harry said that he did not get satisfaction from doing nothing. “It has been an incredible honor to attend the games and meet with the athletes and families”. The former president has lobbied the medical community to drop the term “disorder” from PTSD, and on Sunday, used the forum as a platform to continue pressing for the change.

The two also appeared on “Good Morning America” on Monday for a joint interview with host Robin Roberts, engaging in some friendly banter over the competition – and the mission of the games, which aligns with the first lady’s Joining Forces initiative for veterans returning to the workplace.

The Invictus Games are taking place this week in Orlando.

Baynes, Chief Petty Officer with the Royal New Zealand Navy, qualifies for the event after injuring her hip and back while she was deployed in Afghanistan, resulting in a hip transplant and future surgery on four torn vertebrae in her back.

The same lack of stigma needs to be applied to mental health issues.

‘He’s such a supporter of all injured servicemen world wide now and I’m sure everybody looks upon that.

Tell us what you think! “You have the buddy system, and that should not stop – ever”, Chalmers said.

George W Bush and the UK’s defence secretary Michael Fallon joined Prince Harry for the ceremony, which included fireworks and a parade of than 500 competitors who marched with their national flags. This time around, he joked, he will come prepared to prove his lineage, as American children don’t believe him when he says he is a prince.
