Lithuanian eatery puts up poster of Trump-Putin kiss

Street art depicting a gay kiss between Republican candidate for USA president Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin has been painted in Vilnius. It’s terribly good. The graffiti was commissioned by Dominykas Ceckauskas for the side of his restaurant in Vilnius, Lithuania, who told the AFP that he wanted to make a statement about the United States’ relations with Russian Federation and the big egos that rule (or might) the two countries.

Ceckauskas described the art as a nod to the iconic 1979 photograph of Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev kissing East German ally Erich Honecker on the mouth, which was a customary greeting between Socialist leaders at the time.

The restaurant shared the mural on Instagram with the caption “MAKE EVERYTHING GREAT AGAIN”, which is also painted on the wall alongside the passionate kiss. After decorating the store-front with the mural of Russian president Vladimir Putin kissing Donald Trump, patrons and people have been lining up to take photos and have been sharing the images on the internet. “They both have an ego that is too big, and it is amusing that they get along well”, he said.

So far, we do not yet have photographic proof that Putin ever kissed Trump.

Vladimir Putin has indicated he likes Donald Trump.

Putin and Trump have exchanged compliments during Trump’s campaign, and Trump has said he would “get along fine” with Putin as president. Mindaugas Bonanu was responsible for the fabulous artwork, and he even stenciled in “Make Everything Great Again”. “They seem to get along pretty well”, he added.

“It seems we have a new Cold War, and America may have a president who seeks friendship with Russian Federation”, the restauranteur said. According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump has described Putin as “very bright” and a ‘strong leader’.
