When a concept has a long-standing, devoted cult following, in the way that The Rocky Horror Picture Show does, any attempt to re-boot or re-imagine that concept is often met with derision and anger. We also get a look at Victoria Justice and Ryan McCartan as stranded newlyweds Janet and Brad, as well as Penny Dreadful’s Reeve Carney as something of a hot take (pun intended) on Riff Raff.

Other intriguing casting choices are Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice as Janet, originally played by Susan Sarandon, and American Idol alum Adam Lambert as Eddie, originally played by Meatloaf.

The original film remains iconic – largely due to the performance of Tim Curry as Dr Frank-N-Furter, and the legend returns in this remake as the Criminologist Narrator. There, they’re swept into the world of mad scientist Frank N. Furter, a seductive alien transvestite who creates a muscle man (Rocky) in his lab.

And though the first trailer for Fox’s TV production of the show isn’t giving much away, Cox already seems to be having a ball with the part; relishing such delicious lines as, “It’s not easy having a good time!”
