Cheeky New ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ Deets + Pics Revealed In Book Preview

The book will be released on December 16, the same day as the film. A German Star Wars fan site posted preview pages for a companion book that’s allegedly tied to the movie – and it reveals a lot about the characters in the film that we had no idea about, plus what kind of technology we can expect (yes, a new CGI character). The story guide actually won’t be on sale until January 24, 2017, over a month after Rogue Onecomes out, which makes this early scoop from it all the more ironic.

– Pao and Bistan, aliens described as “fierce warriors”.

The visual story guide also teases the “Dangerous Mission” Jyn and the Rebel Alliance embarks on long before Luke Skywalker (Harrison Ford) and the Rebel Alliance destroyed the Death Star during an attack.

Jiang Wen is Baze, a “freelance assassin”.

– Donnie Yen plays Chirrut, who is described as “a spiritual warrior”.
