London’s New Mayor, Sadiq Khan, Hailed in United Kingdom and Pakistan

After seeing his party beaten into a humiliating third place in Scotland behind the Tories and losing council seats in England on Thursday, Mr Corbyn was desperate to be seen with triumphant a Mr Khan.

Posting on Twitter, Mr Barwell said Labour’s victory had not been the result of demographic change but because his party had not shown Mr Goldsmith’s true character.
