Black Ops III beta date announced for Xbox One

Today, Treyarch announced just when the beta will be available on those two platforms.

Fans have had fun with the recent release of the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3″ zombie experience, but now it’s time for something new.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is entering the beta phase next month and while we knew the Playstation 4 would get first access, PC and Xbox One availability was yet to be revealed. Unfortunately, nothing else has been announced regarding which multiplayer maps will be available or which weapons players will be able to take into combat, but the publisher promises that more information will come to light before the beta hits on PS4. After this PlayStation 4 exclusive beta test period, Xbox One and PC players will get a chance to check out the game on August 26th.

The studio believes that the level of accessibility for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is improved, but veterans of the series will also have a lot of depth to explore. So it’s really not that much of a wait after all.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is out Pre-ordering the game on PS4, Xbox One, and PC gets you into the beta.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III will launch for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as well as the aforementioned platforms on November 6.
