Ozzy Osbourne Statement Following Reported Split With Sharon

The rock legend was spotted in West Los Angeles on Monday, sporting his ring following the news that he and Sharon Osbourne are ending their almost 34-year marriage over allegations Ozzy cheated with hairstylist Michelle Pugh. “Any reports that I am not sober are completely innacurate”.

The 63-year-old television personality chose to take some time off from co-presenting chat show The Talk amidst claims she has split from the Black Sabbath rocker after 34 years of marriage over an alleged affair he has had with celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh. In something that sounds like it is out of their popular MTV reality show, “The Osbournes”, Sharon had been suspicious of an affair for some time now, ET Online reports. Today, Sharon did not appear on her CBS show The Talk, allegedly taking an extremely well-deserved personal day.

The U.K. publication points out in March year Sharon announced on an episode of “The Talk” that she once caught two of the families’ nannies “in bed with Ozzy”. Divorce rumors swirled in 2013, after he admitted to relapsing, leading the rocker to pen a heartfelt apology to “the people I love most, my family”. “Sharon went ballistic with Ozzy and accused him of having the affair”, The Sun reported.

They met in the early 1970s when Sharon’s father was managing Ozzy’s group, Black Sabbath.

Sharon and Ozzy got married in 1982 and have three children together – Aimee, Kelly and Jack.

She proved so successful that she branched out and became a manager for other hard rock acts.

Soon after, the couple welcomed their first child Aimee, now 32 years old, in 1984. Sharon Osbourne then told The Talk: “Everybody knows he’s been struggling with this his entire life and I never knew that he was using prescription drugs”. Ozzy, who has suffered from drug and alcohol abuse in the past, has been sober for three years. Will Sharon let him come back home to be with her again?
