A chain-reaction collision involving a stolen SUV driven by a teenager injured four people, including two children in Brooklyn Monday morning, police said.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene at the intersection of Remsen St. and Rutland Rd.at about 9:15 a.m. where two SUVs collided.
The allegations come a day after police say Brumire drove a stolen 2007 Chevy Tahoe northbound on Remsen Avenue and ran multiple red lights before crashing into a Pathfinder traveling westbound on Rutland Road. The Nissan Pathfinder narrowly missed a 10-month-old being pushed in a carriage by his babysitter across the street, police and prosecutors said.
After the crash, the stolen Tahoe careened to another corner and struck a mother and a 2-year-old child.
“When I went over there her eyes were open”, said Eric Wiseman.
Brumaire was taken into custody at the scene. “The vehicle hit the woman dead on”. The mother is in critical condition, but the child was not seriously hurt.
The fourth pedestrian was also hospitalized with “serious injuries”, the spokesman said, but is expected to live. She was also transported to the hospital, according to police.
Police arrested Stephen Brumaire, 18, and charged him with grand larceny, driving without a license, and operating a vehicle without permission, the AP reported.

The 57-year-old female driver of the Pathfinder was taken to Brookdale Hospital, while the other victims were taken to Kings County Hospital.
