Samsung’s foldable smartphone is apparently known as “Project Valley” internally and according to a leak, it will launch under the name “Galaxy X” next year.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy Note models are rumored to feature Quad HD Super AMOLED displays with an RGB subpixel arrangement.
A prolific mobile industry leaker Evan Blass tweeted: “Samsung Galaxy Note 6 U.S. release scheduled for week of August 15”.

According to the site – which has a strong track record when it comes to Samsung leaks – the device, now being referred to as the Samsung Galaxy X, will be a fully folding smartphone which makes use of a completely flexible 4K OLED display with a diamond PenTile sub-pixel arrangement, and it could be available at some point next year. Still, we have to give the South Koreans some credit because Samsung has updated all its flagship devices despite that some of them were launched over a year ago.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is expected to arrive this month at the earliest. According to the report, the Galaxy Note 6 will launch in August 2016.

Samsung could be launching a model of the Galaxy S7 series, which will bring several improvements to the product line. Now we just have to wait for AT&T and Samsung to announce the thing, and while we do, the rumor mill has supplied us with another look at the rugged GS7. I know not everyone is a fan of Google Photos, but I think it’s a genuinely useful service that saves not only a lot of time, but a lot of space, leaving you free to delete them off the phone itself. Smartphone sales are falling for most major manufacturers, and each new device seems to be more similar than different to its predecessor.
