Police hadn’t released the men’s name by late Tuesday afternoon, but Chaim Parnes and Isack Rosenberg were listed as deceased on the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s website.

Erika Benitez, a spokeswoman for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, would not confirm the deaths, as a matter of department policy.

CPR was administered to those who had been rescued, and both were transported to an area hospital, she said.

Choze said the jet ski picked up three of the victims and two were able to swim to the shoreline. Rosenberg, a father of eight, was the owner of Certified Lumber. They ended up at an unguarded area of Haulover Beach.

According to Vos Iz News, Rosenberg and Parnes were grabbed by a riptide.

The two other NY men are reportedly recovering in a hospital. “His passionate advocacy on behalf of the Satmar community included the always hard issues of housing and health and jobs”.
