Wilshere confident of title charge
England midfielder Wilshere is keen for Arsenal to build on the form they generated towards the end of last term, highlighting the addition of goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea as a sign of the club’s ambition. “We feel we’ve been together a few years now, we’ve brought in world-class players who have had time to settle”. Wilshere then shouted: “And what do we think of s***?“.

“We’ve added a world-class keeper with all of his experience, he’s been there and he’s done it, he’s won everything. But the reality of it is we cry out for players to have passion, and yet we are quite critical of them when they display passion”.
Gotze, who scored the winning goal for Germany in the World Cup final against Argentina last summer, is clearly a huge fan of Wilshere and according to reports [via Mirror Sport] the pair could soon be teammates as the former has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Emirates Stadium in the last few weeks.
“Maybe we could have finished second but especially in the second half of the season we were dominating games and went on an unbeaten run”.
Wilshere was fined £40,000 by the FA and issued with a severe warning about his future behaviour but Manchester United great Neville thought otherwise. “No matter how good you are in life, you need to have a consistent presence at the top”. “I think we’ve got that now”.
The England global made only 14 appearances in the Premier League last season and was ruled out for six months last season after undergoing ankle surgery in November.
