In an interview with Megyn Kelly on Tuesday, the 73-year-old discussed the highly-publicized 1995 double murder trial – including the former National Football League star’s first words to him after being acquitted in the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman. “You were right”, he told journalist Megyn Kelly on Tuesday during her primetime special.

Well, that pretty much confirms it. Ch-ch-check out a clip from Shapiro’s interview (below)!

Robert Shapiro had some confessions to share in first interview in decades. The book has plenty to choose from.

Shapiro, a member of Simpson’s “dream team”, also mentioned that Simpson still owes him legal fees from that trial. In 1974, Lovelace was charged with possession of cocaine and amphetamines in Las Vegas. It was a little bit wide in my palm and a little bit long in my fingers”, Shapiro told Kelly. “O.J. “As far as moral justice, I haven’t discussed it with anyone, including my wife”, Shapiro said. “Wouldn’t even be close”.

Simpson and the murder trial have returned to the cultural consciousness recently thanks to FX’s miniseries “People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” and the eight-hour ESPN documentary series “O.J.: Made in America”.

“There’s two types of justice that we deal with in America: There’s moral justice and there’s legal justice”, Shapiro says. I didn’t consider it, but, it’s kind of an eerie thought when you say that.

“Our system of justice is based on the theory that we hope and pray that innocent people are never convicted”, says Shapiro.

“There’s no question in my mind that any fair juror who saw that case from the beginning to the end would conclude there was reasonable doubt”, he said.
