E! Television officially announced that American actress, journalist and TV host, Maria Menounos, 37, would be replacing Giuliana Rancic on E!

The 40-year-old stepped down from her co-anchor duties largely because of a move to Chicago with her husband Bill Rancic.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, she’ll join “E!” “This is such a thrilling time for me and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life”, Rancic said in a statement at the time. “News.” Menounos is taking over after current anchor Giuliana Rancic announced she is leaving the show.
“With their diverse backgrounds and wide ranging areas of expertise, Sibley, Erin and Zuri will be key additions to E! News, ‘ which boasts the youngest and most affluent audience amongst all entertainment shows”, Najarian added, as reported by Variety.
Previously, an insider told Us Weekly that E! was “over” Giuliana due to the attention surrounding her weight and her Fashion Police fiasco. “News’ success as we continue to integrate the show more closely with the network’s digital platforms and to create new ways of engaging with an evolving audience that consumes information and entertainment across multiple screens”.
Maria Menounos is quite familiar not just with her new role, but has an intimate idea about the network’s inner workings.
