Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s upcoming ‘Sarbjit’ screened at Cannes 2016

The actress looked lovely as she strutted down the red carpet in a flower embellished Rami Kadi dress. Aishwarya carried at glittering cape as she attended the screening of the film Ma Loute. She was seen in a gorgeous red-ruffled Naeem Khan gown in press interactions.

Later, she returns to the red carpet in the evening for the premiere and turns head once again – but this time, with a daring fashion move.

Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is now gracing the Cannes Film Festival, and is all geared-up for her big release “Sarbjit” back home.

Her glammed-down avatar and previews of her moving performance in Sarbjit have surprised and impressed audience and critics alike.

“I was not nervous (for the look at the Cannes) as it has been 15 years representing L’Oreal here. Cannes Festival is two days away and I still don’t know what am I wearing”, said the actor on live video social platform #fame.

After her red carpet appearance last night in a shimmery gold outfit, Aishwarya spent her morning at Cannes giving interviews.

Thereafter, she looked elegant in a flowing and dreamy Elie Saab creation and then she chose an ensemble by India’s veteran designer Rohit Bal. I always knew I needed a middle-aged actress, a mature one who could play 22 years and 62 years easily.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is finally back to Mumbai from Cannes.

The floor-length gown was adorned with delicate applique flowers in shades of purple, orange and white and clung to Aishwarya’s shapely figure in all the right places. We even dug into her past photoshoots and figured out that this is the only mag cover where she has used her hand to cover her belly. The critically acclaimed actress, who has previously done a biopic titled “Provoked” (2006) based on the life of Kiranjit Ahluwalia, confessed, “As an actor I have always been open to doing all kinds of cinema. So now I am just having fun with all the choices”, she said.
