THE WALKING DEAD Attraction At UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD
The theme park company released a video today detailing what visitors of the exhibit can expect to experience out of the revamped attraction. However, this new attraction will be a permanent fixture in the park that’ll allow park goers to get a taste of fear all year long.

Although Rick put Hannah out of her misery on the show, she will rise again as one of the undead animatronics populating Universal Studios Hollywood’s new “Walking Dead” attraction. Nicotero said in a statement that the overall aim is to “make the attraction as 100% authentic as possible”. Check it out and see for yourself. “We’re getting a chance to use molds that were created specifically for the show and translate them into parts of the attraction. We’re creating animatronic walkers that guests will be able to see…it’s never been done before… it’s one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art… and I can’t wait”.
The Walking Dead-based on the comic series of the same name by Robert Kirkman-begins in Georgia, where Officer Rick Grimes wakes up from a coma to discover the entire world has gone to hell, overrun with both flesh-eating zombies and people who are really embracing the lawlessness of the apocalypse. This newly enhanced venture will take the highly sought-after experience from a seasonal, limited time offering to an exciting 365-day opportunity, raising the bar for themed walk-through attractions. Props replicated from the series and detailed set design and costuming also will be featured in the custom-built Dead structure. Universal is warning that due to the intense nature of this experience, the attraction is not recommended for guests under the age of 13.
Unlike the pop-up “Walking Dead” zombie run events, the Universal Studios attraction will be a permanent, year-round aspect of the park.
