Nascar has officially come to Forza Motorsport 6, but it’s only available on Xbox One. Sure. Wanna rattle the bleachers at Le Mans with your Sprint Cup stocker? The official Xbox channel released a trailer today for the announcement.
Nascar is America’s most popular form of motorsport, however the sport is growing a solid local following here in Australia with races streamed live on Foxtel.
The NASCAR Expansion highlights the power and passion of both Forza Motorsport and NASCAR, said Dan Greenawalt, creative director for Turn 10 Studios. The NASCAR Expansion brings the thrills of stock vehicle racing to the world stage.
The expansion also adds the Homestead-Miami Speedway circuit (mandatory to relive this kind of race), rival cars, leagues and multiplayer Hoppers, as well as new features such as Quick Stop and rolling starts, all in line with the American feel of this competition. NASCAR newcomers, meanwhile, can catch up on the association’s history and underlying technology via a series of included “Voices of Motorsport” featurettes narrated by NASCAR drivers Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, and Chase Elliott.
