Kasich: Won’t Run Third Party Because It ‘Doesn’t Feel Right’
However, rumors have been swirling that Kasich might try to run as a third-party candidate in order to stop Trump.

“I just think running a third party doesn’t feel right”, he said in a preview clip of an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper set to air in full tonight.
During the interview, his first since ending his campaign, Kasich criticized some of Trump’s past comments and said a candidate can not win in OH if they “polarize” people.
And he isn’t interested in running against Trump as a third-party candidate, either.
He and Texas Sen.
Kasich dropped out of the race earlier this month after Trump won the IN primary. The billionaire represents the “path to darkness”, Kasich said in a speech in April, seeking to consolidate the anti-Trump forces behind his candidacy.
John Kasich told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” that he would sign a bill now being debated in his state banning abortion if the reason for the procedure is because the child would have Down syndrome.
“I’m undecided here about what I’m going to do here in this race”.
He acknowledged that he has had a phone call with “somebody” who wanted him to mount an independent bid. “And I don’t think it’s appropriate”. O’Rourke and Max Boot have said they will vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton.
But as Trump racked up primary wins, Kasich joined other candidates in becoming more hesitant.

After Kasich suspended his campaign, The Enquirer asked spokespeople whether the governor would support Trump, but did not receive a response. “We’ll see what he does”.
