Modi to address three rallies in Bihar next month

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address three more rallies in Bihar next month as part of his campaigning ahead of Bihar assembly poles.

BJP presented the Kumar government’s performance report card in the form of a cartoon pamphlet.

“It is being very unfair on the part of the chief minister to take credit for the performance of the government during its two (consecutive) terms. He (Kumar) should have given credit to us too for all good works happening in Bihar”, BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi told reporters.

The rally in Muzaffarpur was a grand success and the subsequent rallies would also do well with Modi battling to defeat Nitish.BJP is expected to well in Bihar as well as the other eastern states of India.

“It recorded high growth rate and witnessed the development of basic infrastructure to human development in the last one decade, which was lauded and studied by foreign universities”, Nitish Kumar said while releasing a final report card on his government’s performance ahead of the coming Bihar assembly polls in October-November. War of words has begun among politicos and it is likely to get muckier in the coming months.

Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi charged that the incidents of rape, abduction and murder had increased manifold in the last two years.

The alliance had then won three-fourth majority, which “does not happen every time in politics”, he said.

Nitish Kumar on Monday said the state had developed in the last 10 years and his government had worked for its development with justice for all.

“Even the State’s growth rate has remained half of what it was during the NDA government”.

Modi would address his first rally in Gaya, the home town of former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, whose outfit Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) is now an alliance partner of the NDA.
