Trooper rescues baby after vehicle bursts into flames during crash

An Ohio State Trooper rescued a baby trapped in a vehicle following a wild crash that was caught on camera.

The video shows the driver blow through a stop sign, hit a pole, roll over and then burst into flames.

After the crash Wednesday Eitel jumped out of his cruiser to put out the auto on fire when he heard a woman’s voice.

“He is upside-down, in his auto seat, held up by the vehicle seat”, Eitel said of the baby trapped in the vehicle. “I just wanted to get him out”, said Trooper Sean Eitel. At this point he also noticed the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person and that her speech was slurred.
