Departing Ibrahimovic hoping to sign off with French Cup

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC’S AGENT has cooled talk of the Swedish star moving to Manchester United after claiming reports of an offer from the 19-time English champions are untrue.

But the forward’s agent, Mino Raiola, has confirmed this is not the case, labelling the stories as “not factual”.

As Zlatan Ibrahimovic takes part in his final training sessions for Paris Saint-Germain, before his summer exit, the one on Tuesday saw him pulled to one side to be presented with another trophy.

The assertion that Ibrahimovic’s exit from Parc des Princes changes matters is a fair one, with PSG manager Laurent Blanc undoubtedly on the lookout for a talent to replace his departed attacking hero. If Ibrahimovic were to move to United this summer and take up the option for a second year, his time at Old Trafford would end nearly perfectly in time for him to head Stateside. He’s shown very little signs of slowing down in League 1 this season and you’d have to fancy his chances to make a smooth transition into the Premier League.

“I look at Man United and they need a spark”. “I know what I will do next year but I wouldn’t tell you”, he said after the game. The former Reds midfielder believes the Swedish worldwide can act as a catalyst in helping the Old Trafford club play entertaining football. “I had to give them the best of myself”.

With a busy transfer window ahead, it will be interesting to see if United sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the end?

A big-money move to China and America has been touted, as well as a possible reunion with former Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho at United.

According to ESPN, the Union have put Ibra on their discovery list, and have done so because they could be paid for just having him on the list.
