Leaked Poster Reveals Destiny’s Next Expansion, Rise of Iron
Earlier today Reddit user viking805fan posted a picture of a poster revealing the next Destiny expansion will be Rise of Iron.

The expansion’s title suggests we may see more of the Lords of Iron, who give their name to Destiny’s monthly Iron Banner player-versus-player event. It’s not clear how this expansion is related to Destiny’s regular Iron Banner PVP event, but that appears to be the overexcited Crucible maestro Lord Saladin brandishing a hammer in the poster.
Destiny 2 will be released next year and it was originally scheduled for September 2016 but this expansion Rise of Iron will take its place.
They’re probably unlikely to say anything about Destiny 2 though, which has reportedly been subject to a rethink after the ousting of Bungie boss Harold Ryan. According to the details confirmed so far by Activision and Bungie, the next DLC for Destiny will feature a new raid and it will be bigger as compared to the Year One DLC contents. According to sources at Kotaku, the Rise of Iron will be another massive update along the lines of last year’s The Taken King.

Many of these rumors are nearly certainly to be cleared up at this year’s E3 next month.
