Trump Says Fundraiser Wiped Christie’s Campaign Debt Clean
He also touched on how the next president would pick three or more Supreme Court justices, having this week released a list of names of 11 judges he would consider appointing to the high court. Earlier this week, a Quinnipiac University poll showed Christie had an approval rating of only 29%.

The poll found that 40 percent of New Jersey residents also disapprove of the job U.S. Sen. With his term ending in January 2018, Christie could find political rebirth in a Trump administration, perhaps even as vice president.
Christie has been a part of Trump’s campaign since endorsing him at the end of February, only a couple of weeks after dropping out of the race himself.
These amount to the first campaign fundraising events for Trump, who long pilloried big-money donors but entered into a joint fundraising effort this week between his campaign and the Republican National Committee.
She recalled that in 2008, after losing the primary to President Barack Obama, she endorsed him and campaigned for him. A plane circling the area carried a banner declaring “dump Christie and Trump”. In fact, Trump is now within the Consult survey’s 2-point margin of error, trailing the former secretary of state 42-40 percent.
The exact time of the VIP fundraiser hasn’t been announced, but the $25,000-per-person event is meant to raise money for the New Jersey Republican Party.
Mrs Clinton said she is ready to take on Mr Trump, but vowed to keep the conversation focused on issues and her record, rather than personal attacks. In fact the shift was ordered, and the resulting mess privately celebrated, by Christie allies who prosecutors say were seeking retribution against Fort Lee’s mayor for not backing Christie’s re-election. “Chris, don’t feel bad, for either of us”.
Some 72 percent of voters, including 64 percent of Republicans, added that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump should not select Christie to serve as his vice presidential running mate. “There is no way that I won’t be (the nominee)”, she said.
Other groups that plan to join the protest include the New Jersey Citizen Action, New Jersey Sierra Club, New Jersey ATU State Council and New Jersey Working Families Alliance. On Thursday Christie got reimbursed up to $400,000 for his dignity. Trump also told those in the crowd wary about his call for a potential trade war in China: “A lot of you don’t know the world of economics”. You are not eating Oreos anymore. Because the federal government provides matching funds for charity care, the $175 million cut planned for next year would lead to a net reduction of $350 million for charity care in New Jersey.
“We are going to have a military that’s going to be so big and so strong and so powerful that nobody is going to mess with us”, he said.

As is customary at Trump events, the scene outside the rally was part of the storyline, too.
